Reggie Fullwood is the Executive Director of Metro North Community Development Corporation, Inc. (MNCDC), a Jacksonville-based 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that focuses on real estate and community development. Joining the corporation in 2010, Fullwood provides leadership and direction for all organizational goals and initiatives.
Reggie is a native of Jacksonville, and was elected to the Florida State House Representatives in November of 2010 to represent District 15. His legislative priorities include improving public education, creating jobs for Floridians and revitalizing urban communities through economic development.
Prior to joining MNCDC, Fullwood was president of Rhino Harbor, LLC., a commercial and residential real estate development and consulting firm. In 1999, Rep. Fullwood became the youngest person ever elected to the Jacksonville City Council where he represented District 9. He served two terms on the City Council, and held several leadership positions including Floor Leader and Chair of the Finance, Public Services and Utilities and Recreation and Community Development Committees.
Fullwood also writes a weekly political and social editorial column for the Jacksonville Free Press, a Northeast Florida minority-owned newspaper. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Political Science from the University of North Florida. He is also a graduate of the 2004 class of Leadership Florida and is an alumnus of INROADS Jacksonville.
Public service and volunteerism is an integral part of Reggie’s life. He has been a member of the board of directors for several Northeast Florida non profits, has coached in local parks and has been active in numerous community-based organizations.
